Our school aims at nurturing love and joy in learning, so that students can be intrinsically motivated and enjoy their learning at school. Through participating in a wide range of activities, students are exposed to an English-rich environment outside the classroom, and they are encouraged to learn English in a fun and interactive way.
1. Wishing Trees (30th Anniversary Celebration)
It’s TKP’s thirtieth anniversary. Our school decided to foster students’ positive values and attitudes through creating “gratitude trees”. Students are encouraged to express their gratitude towards teachers and the school based on the following themes: wishing TKP a happy birthday, students’ favourite teachers and place at school, and a thank-you card dedicating to the teachers or objects related to students’ school life, such as handbook, chair or homework. Students show enthusiasm when engaging in the writing. The leaves collected from every student put several gratitude trees together and boost an ambience of appreciation at school.

2. Fun Recess Activities
Students are invited to join the Fun Recess Activities in English Fun Room. Teachers hold a variety of activities, ranging from playing scrabble, hangman, doing tongue twisters, easy handicrafts to reading books with teachers. Students are benefited from the positive learning experience.

3. English Fun Day
On English Fun Day, students dressed in glitzy costumes, as vampires, ghosts, witches, princesses and many more, to participate in all the fun English activities! They looked fabulous! During recess, our English Gurus went from class to class doing trick-or-treat with all the students and they had a whale of a time! Students watched videos about the origins of Halloween, made handicrafts and participated in a Halloween tongue twister competition. It was great to see such a fun and festive atmosphere at TKP!

4. Christmas Celebrations- Share your video with everyone! Because of the school suspension, we couldn’t have a Christmas party at school last year, but it did not stop students and teachers from showing their enjoyable Christmas celebration with others online. |
