Pupils in Po Leung Kuk Tin Ka Ping Primary School are given ample opportunities to learn English in a meaningful way so that they can carry out acts of purposeful communication and use the language in real life situations. Our teachers adopt a variety of teaching approaches to cater for students of various abilities and learning styles, such as visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. Multi-modal elements and diversified pedagogical approaches help build up an English-rich environment.

Media and Information Literacy Series- Mold students’ positive and responsible attitude when using the information from the internet
2. Gifted education for all
To cater for the needs of high English ability students, we will carry out language arts activities for P.1, P.2, P.3, P.4, P.5 and P.6 students respectively. The goal of the activities is to help students find out their own potentials and stretch their potentials, and thus enhance self-confidence.

P.6 students make game booths for P.1-5 students during English lessons using the target learning strategies: mind mapping, thinking skills, both sides thinking, timeline, other people’s point of view. They design, make and host the game booth at the English Fun Fair. P.1-5 students, on the other hand, are asked to write a thank-you card or letter to appreciate the P.6 helps or draw a poster to promote this event.
